Privacy:

  • Anti-disappearing message. (Messages won't disappear for you)
  • Ability to disable WhatsApp chats in the Android share menu.
  • Show our messages that are deleted for everyone.
  • Option to choose a download folder for status and other media.
  • Ability to download each person's media (pictures, videos, stickers, voice notes, view once) to their name or number folder for easy access like WhatsApp have it inbuilt.
  • Disable proximity sensor (If enabled, the proximity sensor will be disabled, and covering it during audio playback will not activate the call speaker).

Notifications:

  • Show revoke alert (If enabled, a notification will be shown when a contact tries to delete a message).
  • Notification icon (Choose which icon to use for notification of the revoked message).
  • Show Expiry Date (If enabled, a notification with the expiration date of the current version of WhatsApp will be shown).
  • Recive notifications from archived chats even after enabling keep chats archived.

Home Screen:

  • Different Home screen styles.
  • Direct shortcut for access Profile.
  • Re-Add the save profile photo button.

Conversation Screen:

  • Quick access to the first message in a chat.
  • Ability to display specific messages from a member in a group.
  • Double-tap to react feature.
  • Group admin indicator for easy identification.
  • Different action bar style.
  • Replace icons in WhatsApp.
  • Hide the call button.
  • Hide the video call button.
  • Hide camera button.
  • Hide attachment button.
  • Hide emoji picker button.
  • Remove voice note button.
  • Hide contact photo profile.
  • Remove date and contact name from copied messages.

Status Screen:

  • Repost status button for sharing others' statuses.
  • Automatic marking as viewed if replied to a status.
  • Hide viewed status button or an arrow to always show all updates.
  • Make texts selectable from status, about.
  • Copy text status.

Customization:

  • Backup and restore features between modded and official versions.
  • Restoration of XML file for a specific contact.
  • Client-side control to block auto-download/playing of voice messages.
  • Theming support, including Material You themes.
  • Emoji changer with different packs.
  • Pure Black Theme with Monet support.
  • Use System Emojis.
  • Snowflakes in Home Screen and Chat Screen.

Profile Screen:

  • Increase About limit (If enabled, you will be able to write a long About with a maximum of 255 characters).
  • New Profile UI.

Groups:

  • Bypass group participants limit (If enabled, you will be able to create a group without limits).
  • Increase group description limit (If enabled, the group description limit will be set to 522 characters).
  • Show our Profile Picture along with messages in group chat.

Toast:

  • Status view toast notification.
  • Contact online toast notification.

Mod Tweaks:

  • Boost upload and download speed.

We need a option to keep everything as oficial wpp, only with Minor tweaks, like a lite module, with only anti revoke, download status and view once etc, without even changing the theme... When i enable the module the wpp ui turns out to the Green ui again

Hey guys, i have an idea

What if have toggle on the Archived Chats are not shown inside the Frequently Contacted and Recent Chats when we want to forward message/s?

Maybe an auto-reply feature if partial and/or exact keyword is detected on a message >.>

Source: GBWA iirc has that feature

  • partial/exact matches
  • select group and/or contacts
  • schedule when/when not to reply
  • multiple keywords configuration

This would be nice, but not a priority

  • auto-reply with attachments (documents / photos / videos / etc.)
  • integrate with other app / api / something so that it can be used as a semi-selfbot (e.g. get current phone's time)

Why not use that another app that makes use of notification feature? because if you open WhatsApp, notifications won't appear -> not reliable

something like that is possible using tasker which is already available
idk if dev will put something like that inbuilt

Maybe you can add the option to see the "Last seen" for people who disabled it based on when they were last connected.

  • Contact specific privacy (allow defined contacts to see blue ticks, delivered, status view and others..)
  • Clone support for Dual apps ( currently some of the settings do not support clone apps, i.e "Download and Share Status" and "Download View Once"

Contact specific privacy, would be amazing, especially the option to select specific contacts that would see blue ticks after you replied, whilst still having blue ticks disabled/tapping blue ticks icon globally.

Can we also do something that would make deleted messages more obvious for instance change the color of the bubble to red so you're not looking for this little line of text at the bottom

I would love if you could add a feature that makes the image folder to have subfolders. For example having one subfolder for each year and another layer of subfolders for each month would be great.
Another useful feature would be having separated folders for each chat, but maybe that is harder to make.

The reason I'd like to have this is the following: my image folder has around 20k images. This makes it really slow to write more images to it (about 500ms/image). It apparently is a lot worse on android than when using a regular linux. Reading and deleting images is fine, though. I already also ran into the issue that WhatsApp just could not write any more images to the folder at all until I deleted some images. Maybe this is related?
So for now I have to delete old images but I'd prefer not to have to do this. Also restoring backups is a pain as well.

Is it possible to fix the blank emojis in the emoji selector?

The last module that could do this was WA Tweaker so very happy to find out I can replace the default WhatsApp emojis again!

thank for this incredible module everyone!
whenever i open whatsapp i get an option to update the module which takes me to the project's telegram group, me and other people included no longer use telegram due to privacy concerns or banned phone numbers, can we have the update option take us straight to the GitHub releases page of this repo?

My advice for you is to do what I'm doing right now
Is to get an android device that releases Q1 or Q2 2020 to get 5G support or before that if 5G not important for you.

Example: oneplus 8 pro or Samsung s20 5g or s20+5g or s20 ultra 5g.

Then downgrade it to android 10 and root it after that get Boldbeast Android VoIP Call Recorder app to record any app voice or video call.

Other than that forget VOIP call record feature on android 11 and above.

PS.
I think they will active voice record again on android 16.

Some things I really need (and probably more people):

  • Ability to remove useless items from the 3 dots menus

  • Disable reactions popup, or replace it with something less intrusive

  • The "archive" button always visible, instead of buried on the 3 dot menu

  • A way to schedule the sending of a message

  • Contact specific option to automatically download media, or not, and to hide tick/doubletick/bluetick
